Terry began her career in the industry at Beacon Securities Ltd as a co-op student from Mount Saint Vincent University in 1999. She graduated from MSVU with distinction in the Bachelor of Business Administration Program and a double concentration in marketing and finance. She received the CFA designation in 2006.
She became a shareholder of the firm in 2005.
