Alayne is responsible for the accounting and financial regulatory reporting.

Alayne graduated in 1975 with a Bachelor of Commerce from Dalhousie University. She then spent five years with Price Waterhouse in Halifax receiving the Chartered Accountant Designation in 1979.

Prior to joining Beacon Securities in 1994 Alayne worked for 10 years with National Sea Products Limited in their Head Office in Halifax. She held positions in Accounting and Information Systems.

She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nova Scotia.
